Hospitals and clinics

A ward is a place to get well – around the clock.

In hospital, patients spend days and nights in a few square metres. Air, temperature, light and noise on the ward shape how they sleep, recover and experience their stay. Fact & Feeling measures live in the rooms, knows every room from the floor plan and reacts as soon as conditions disturb recovery.

What the room means for recovery

Recovery needs sleep, and sleep needs quiet, the right temperature and darkness at the right time. On many wards it is exactly the noise from the corridor, room air that is too warm or light from the hallway that disturbs patients at night – and nobody measures it.

During the day, daylight matters for the body clock, fresh air for how people feel, and surroundings that are easy to find your way in. Fact & Feeling makes these conditions visible room by room and comparable over days.

What Fact & Feeling does here

What the platform does on your ward – day and night.

Sensors measure in every room, the AI knows each room’s position and use from the floor plan and reacts live.

Patient health

  • Protect night-time quietSound and light in every patient room through the night. Rooms that are repeatedly too loud or too bright stand out straight away.
  • Good air at full occupancyCO₂, humidity and particles when shared rooms are full or visitors are present – with ventilation or an alert to the team.

Energy

  • Supply by useDay rooms, waiting and side areas are not fully supplied when nobody is there.
  • Plan for the sunThe AI knows which rooms get afternoon sun and uses sun shading instead of cooling, where connected.

Operations and costs

  • Equipment in viewVentilation and heating on the ward are monitored continuously; anomalies go to the technical team before patients notice.
  • Maintenance without disruptionCall-outs can be planned instead of interrupting the ward with emergencies.

Fact & Feeling complements medical, hygiene and building systems and does not replace them. Operating theatres, isolation areas and other regulated rooms have their own requirements; there we only work in agreement with the people responsible.
