How to read our statements
Healthcare buildings are sensitive places. That is why we want to be clear about what Fact & Feeling does and where its limits are.
We assess rooms, not people
Fact & Feeling measures indoor climate, light and sound in hospitals, care facilities and practices. The platform is not a medical device: it does not monitor patients, make diagnoses or give treatment recommendations. Medical and nursing decisions are made solely by doctors and nursing professionals.
What our statements are based on
When we describe how room conditions relate to recovery, sleep or wellbeing, we rely on published research and name the sources. Such findings describe tendencies across many people; individual patients or staff may respond differently.
What you can expect – and what not
Which improvements in room quality, energy demand or maintenance effort are achieved depends on the facility, its building systems, occupancy, hygiene requirements and how recommendations are put into practice. Figures on savings estimate a potential. Only what is agreed in the contract is promised.
Illustrations on this website
Room plans, simulations and example values are simplified and only serve as illustrations. They are not measured data from real facilities. Example situations described here are not customer testimonials.
No safety or alarm function
The sensors replace neither fire, smoke, gas or carbon monoxide detectors nor nurse call systems or required monitoring systems. Measured CO₂ (carbon dioxide) is not toxic carbon monoxide (CO).
Continuous operation and building systems
Continuous monitoring requires power, a network connection and an active service. The system only acts on ventilation, heating, lighting or shading if the facility has approved it and the building systems allow it. The facility’s hygiene and safety rules always take priority; responsibility for operation remains with the operator.
